Feeling Stuck in Life? Honor Your Transition
Guidance this week comes to you with the encouragement of releasing what you are clinging to so that you may transform into the next phase of your life. What are you holding on to out of fear and what fears does releasing “the thing” bring up for you? The answers to these questions will be found within your daily routines and habits.
Lately you have desired momentous change in your life, fulfillment, or a deep longing for something greater than you have experienced thus far but it eludes you. Over the past several years, you have spent your time doing the same thing. Somewhere along the way, you found something that worked to help you reach a few goals and you have stuck with it. Consistency is what “they” have always said. You gave it a go but have come to the awareness that years later, you are feeling trapped in a loop. It is as if you are running some sort of old and outdated script. You are.
The good news is that you are here, and once your mind has been expanded beyond its current state, it cannot ever go back to the way it was. Pre-COVID, you felt you had it all figured out.
Your life was running smoothly, and things were good but as time progressed you started to feel like something was missing. You are in the last few stages of a major life transition. You have grown so much over the past three years, and you should feel great about that.
The time has come for you to look at your daily actions and habits. Do these activities that you do so routinely align with who you were in the past or who you are becoming? As you learn to honor your transition phase, you are reminded that in this space there are days when the old feels good. It is comforting and familiar for a few days before you feel that nagging feeling of longing creep up once more.
What is trying to come in? What new actions and activities are trying to take root? Tune in and listen to the whispers of your soul and allow its wisdom to be your guide. You did not come this far, just to come this far. Release your grip on everything you feel you must do or be and allow new experiences, joys, and ideas in. You cannot walk through the doorway of transformation while still grasping the doorknob of your past.
